Three players from across the Canadian Football League earned top honours for Week 15, with Toronto Argonauts receiver David Ungerer III, Montreal Alouettes linebacker Tyrice Beverette and B.C. Lions receiver Keon Hatcher Sr. all named the CFL’s best players at their respective positions.
Ungerer Shines in Toronto Victory
Ungerer delivered a career-best performance on Saturday as the Argonauts defeated the Ottawa Redblacks 26–23. He caught seven passes for 175 yards, setting a new personal record in receiving yards for a single game.

His biggest play came on an 85-yard reception that helped swing momentum in Toronto’s favour. He also hauled in a 34-yard touchdown catch, contributing directly to the Argonauts’ narrow victory over Ottawa.
Beverette Stands Out Despite Montreal Loss
Beverette earned his weekly honour despite playing on the losing side. Montreal fell to B.C. 48–29 on Saturday, but the linebacker still put together a strong individual effort.
He recorded seven defensive tackles and two sacks, accounting for 23 lost yards against the Lions’ offence. In addition, Beverette forced a fumble in the second quarter. Mustafa Johnson recovered it and returned the ball 23 yards for a touchdown.
Hatcher Reaches Career Milestone in B.C. Win
On the winning side of that same game, Hatcher had an outstanding afternoon for the Lions. He caught nine passes for 137 yards and added a receiving touchdown in the victory over Montreal.
The performance marked his second 100-yard game of the current season. It also brought his career total to 16 games with at least 100 receiving yards, a significant milestone for the veteran receiver.
Together, the three selections highlight the individual talent on display across the league during Week 15 of the CFL season.
