The Hyde Park show carries special significance for Raye, who grew up in London. She began her career as a songwriter before releasing her debut album, “My 21st Century Blues,” in 2023. That record earned her six BRIT Awards, including album of the year and songwriter of the year. She also won the Ivor Novello songwriter of the year prize and received three Grammy nominations.
Earlier this year, Raye released her second album, “This Music May Contain Hope.” The record recently won the prestigious Mercury Prize in the United Kingdom. It also produced the hit single “Where Is My Husband!” — further cementing her status as one of Britain’s most prominent artists.
Sienna Spiro Set to Open the Show
Sienna Spiro, 21, joins the bill as the first confirmed support act. She has quickly built a reputation for her powerful voice and mature songwriting. Her debut album, “Visitor,” became the biggest debut album of the year in the United Kingdom and has since earned gold certification from the RIAA.
Meanwhile, Spiro is currently on her worldwide “My House” tour. Many industry observers consider her a frontrunner for the best new artist Grammy. Her Hyde Park appearance will follow the conclusion of that tour.
