Three standout performers earned CFL player of the week honours on Tuesday, with Toronto Argonauts linebacker Adarius Pickett, Calgary Stampeders receiver Jalen Philpot and Ottawa Redblacks receiver Justin Hardy all recognised for their performances on the weekend.
A panel of representatives from the CFL’s football operations, player and game statistics, and content departments selected the trio for the weekly awards.

Pickett Delivers Career-Best Performance for Toronto
Pickett put together an outstanding game in Toronto’s 24-19 home victory over the Edmonton Elks on Saturday. He recorded 13 tackles, matching a career-best and setting a new season high. He also added a sack to his impressive stat line.
Philpot Reaches Career High in Calgary Win
Philpot had a career-high nine receptions for 118 yards and a touchdown as Calgary defeated Ottawa 40-38 at home on Saturday. The performance marked his second 100-yard game of the current season and the third of his career.
Hardy Shines in Losing Effort for Ottawa
Meanwhile, Hardy turned in a remarkable individual effort despite Ottawa falling to Calgary in that same contest. He caught a career-best 12 passes for 129 yards, a season high, and scored a touchdown with 1:17 remaining in the fourth quarter to tie the game. It also marked Hardy’s third 100-yard receiving game of the season.
All three players produced milestone performances in a single weekend of CFL action. Pickett anchored Toronto’s defence with a dominant tackling display, while both Philpot and Hardy set personal records through the air. Their efforts highlighted a compelling Saturday slate across the league.
