Celebrity stylist Law Roach says he is open to pursuing an acting career, telling reporters he is “absolutely” ready to give it a try. Roach, who has styled some of the biggest names in entertainment including Zendaya, Kim Kardashian and Celine Dion, shared his thoughts Thursday night at the InStyle Imagemaker Awards.
“When a director sees something for me, I want to try everything,” Roach said. “If I’m terrible at it, at least I tried.”

Roach Keeps an Open Mind on Acting
Roach has already made brief on-screen appearances as himself. He appeared in “The Devil Wears Prada 2” and the Kate Hudson Netflix sitcom “Running Point.” Beyond those cameos, he has also served as a judge on several reality television series, including “Legendary,” “America’s Next Top Model,” “Project Runway” and “RuPaul’s Drag Race.”
When asked whether working closely with A-list actors had given him useful insight into the craft, Roach was characteristically witty. “I’ve also worked with some of the greatest singers of all time, but that doesn’t mean I’m going to try to sing,” he joked.
Priyanka Chopra Jonas Talks “Judgment Day”
Also at the InStyle Imagemaker Awards, Priyanka Chopra Jonas spoke about her upcoming comedy film “Judgment Day.” Jonas, who is sometimes a Roach client and a fellow honoree at the event, reunites in the film with her “Baywatch” co-star Zac Efron. Director Nicholas Stoller leads the Amazon MGM Studios production, which also stars Will Ferrell, Regina Hall and Fortune Feimster.
In the film, Efron plays a newly released prison inmate who takes a TV courtroom judge and his television cast and crew hostage. The supporting cast includes Michael Peña, Billy Eichner, Jimmy Tatro, Heidi Gardner, Bobby Cannavale and Bill Camp.
Jonas described the experience on set as both educational and enjoyable. “I had a blast. I went in there to learn and had a great time,” she said. “I’m just sitting there watching everyone.”
However, staying composed on set proved challenging at times. Jonas admitted to breaking character twice. “Once with Will, for sure, and once with Regina,” she said. “She said something and I was just done. Fortune said something too and I was really trying hard.” Jonas added that coming from a dramatic acting background made the experience especially memorable. “To be surrounded by all of these amazing comedians and actors who are so easy with comedy, it was so cool to witness,” she said.
