Gomez announced the news on Instagram on Wednesday, captioning a close-up photo of her diamond ring with the words: “forever begins now.” The post also featured pictures of a romantic picnic setup and the couple smiling together. Blanco commented on the post, “Hey wait… that’s my wife.”
Numerous celebrities, including Taylor Swift, Jennifer Aniston, Gwyneth Paltrow, Cardi B, Lil Nas X, and Julia Michaels, congratulated the couple on their engagement. Swift joked, “Yes I will be the flower girl,” while Aniston exclaimed, “HONEY!! Congratulations sweet mama!”
