An Alberta player or players have claimed the largest Lotto Max jackpot in the draw’s history, walking away with a record $90 million prize after Tuesday night’s draw. The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation confirmed the win on Wednesday.
The OLG did not specify in its announcement whether a single ticket holder won the jackpot or whether multiple winners shared the prize. The $90 million total built up over several consecutive draws that produced no jackpot winner.

Ontario Players Also Claim Major Prizes
While the grand prize went to Alberta, several Ontario-based players also celebrated significant wins on Tuesday night. The OLG confirmed that multiple players in the province won MaxMillion and MaxPlus prizes.
Three separate $1 million prizes were claimed from tickets sold in Brant County, Toronto, and through an online purchase. In addition, twelve MaxPlus tickets worth $100,000 each were sold across the province. Five further MaxPlus tickets, each valued at $50,000, were also sold in Ontario.
About Lotto Max Draws
Lotto Max holds draws twice a week, every Tuesday and Friday. The jackpot grows each week when no ticket matches the winning numbers. As a result, the prize can climb rapidly over multiple draw cycles, as it did in this case before Tuesday’s record-breaking outcome.
The $90 million figure marks a historic milestone for the Lotto Max game. However, the OLG has not yet released further details about the winning ticket or its holder in Alberta. Further information is expected as the prize claim process moves forward.
