Virginia Giuffre, a well-known accuser of Jeffrey Epstein, has revealed that she was involved in a severe car accident with a school bus, leaving her in critical condition.
In an emotional Instagram post, Giuffre shared a photo of herself in a hospital bed, her face visibly bruised. She stated that she had suffered kidney failure and had been given just four days to live by doctors.
According to Giuffre, the crash occurred when a school bus traveling at 110 km/h (68 mph) struck her vehicle as she was slowing down to turn. She did not specify the location or exact timing of the accident.
Her spokesperson, Dini von Mueffling, confirmed the seriousness of the situation in a statement to CNN, saying Giuffre is receiving medical treatment and deeply appreciates the outpouring of support from well-wishers.
In her post, Giuffre expressed a heartbreaking desire to see her children one last time, writing, “I’m ready to go, just not until I see my babies one last time. But you know what they say about wishes.”
Giuffre is widely known for her allegations against Epstein and Prince Andrew. She accused Epstein of trafficking her and claimed that Prince Andrew sexually abused her when she was 17. The Duke of York has consistently denied the allegations.
In 2021, Giuffre sued Prince Andrew, and the following year, they reached an undisclosed settlement. As part of the agreement, Andrew made a substantial donation to Giuffre’s charity for abuse survivors.
Epstein, a convicted sex offender, was arrested in 2019 on federal sex trafficking charges but died by suicide in jail before standing trial. Prosecutors accused him of orchestrating a vast network of sexual exploitation involving underage girls across multiple locations, including New York and the US Virgin Islands.
