A North Carolina man has been arrested after an investigation into a fight at a Morgan Wallen concert in Baltimore on July 18. Maryland Transportation Authority Police charged Jayson Reed, 33, with four counts of second-degree assault, public urination, and other offenses.
Police responded to a report of a fight at M&T Bank Stadium. Security pointed out those involved, and officers separated them, identified Reed as a suspect, and escorted him out. After taking his information, officers learned Reed had allegedly urinated on other attendees. Detectives later found additional witnesses who were not present during the initial response.
Reed is being held in North Carolina awaiting extradition to Maryland.
Concertgoer Troy Grevelding, who attended with his wife, brother, and two young nieces, told People that Reed urinated on them mid-show. Grevelding said he had earlier asked Reed to stop speaking loudly on video calls during the opening act, but the exchange remained civil. Later, his wife felt liquid on her leg, and Grevelding turned to see Reed with his pants down. He could not tell if Reed was aiming for a container. Grevelding reported the incident to police and stadium officials, and shared a viral video of officers speaking with him and his wife afterward.
