Toronto police are on the lookout for three female suspects linked to a string of sexual assaults and thefts targeting businesses in Scarborough over the past ten months.
According to a statement released Friday, investigators believe the same group of women is responsible for at least five separate incidents between June 2024 and April 2025. In each case, authorities say the suspects used a disturbing tactic: one woman would allegedly sexually assault a business employee or owner, while another took advantage of the distraction to steal cash from the premises.
All reported incidents share a similar pattern, with the suspects making their getaway in a dark-coloured Audi sedan or SUV. Police have released images of the suspect vehicles in an effort to generate leads.
The latest incident occurred on April 22, 2025, in the area of Danforth Road and Danforth Avenue. Prior incidents were reported at the following locations and dates:
-
April 19, 2025 – Midwest Road and Midland Avenue
-
March 13, 2025 – Danforth Road and Midland Avenue
-
June 20, 2024 – St. Clair Avenue and Kingston Road
-
June 19, 2024 – Mountjoy Avenue and Lamb Avenue
Police have not yet disclosed the total amount of money stolen in the incidents.
The suspects are all described as having olive-toned skin and long black hair. Two are said to have a medium build, while the third is described as having a thin build.
