Attack Shocks Ile d’Oleron
SAINT-PIERRE-D’OLERON, France_ A motorist deliberately hits five people on Ile d’Oleron over 35 minutes Wednesday, Interior Minister Laurent Nunez confirmed. Two victims sustained serious injuries. Authorities launched an attempted murder investigation. They stressed the case is not terrorism related.
One victim, a 22-year-old woman, suffered multiple traumas. Three others endured minor injuries, while several pedestrians faced psychological shock. Emergency teams treated them immediately.
